Performance Optimisation

-

Optimise system and pipeline performance through ongoing monitoring and implementation of scalable solutions designed to handle expanding data volumes and growing organisational demands.

Leadership & Collaboration

-

Lead and collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, infrastructure teams, and vendors to understand data requirements and ensure that data systems are scalable, reliable, and aligned with business objectives.

-

Lead architecture reviews and provide technical guidance to project teams.

Data Governance and Quality

-

Maintain data quality, integrity, security and compliance standards across data systems

-

Oversee documentations required for system architecture design and technical specifications.

[What we are looking for]

-

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.

-

Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in data architecture and data engineering, with a demonstrated track record of successfully in delivering Singapore Government large-scale project implementations.

-

Minimum 3 to 5 years of Experience in cloud technologies such as AWS infrastructure and native AWS tools (CloudWatch and Glue).

-

Minimum 3 to 5 years of Experience in data modelling, data access, and data storage infrastructure including Data Lake, Data Virtualisation, and Data Warehouse for efficient storage and retrieval.

-

Minimum 2 to 4 years of Experience in REST API and web requests/protocols.

-

Able to apply AI to improve data platform design, build of data pipelines and perform data quality related checks.

-

Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving competencies.

-

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse project teams.

-

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
